Only 25 prints in existence
Collectible & Commemorative!
The Ink: Gamblin Artist’s Colors Relief Ink in Portland Intense Black, a professional-quality oil-based ink with a very high pigment load, which produces rich, crisp colors and details.
The Paper: Mulberry Unbleached Paper is handmade from the inner fiber of the mulberry to produce an exceptionally pure, translucent paper. It is very strong, lightweight, and acid-free for archival quality.
The Process: The artist first sketched the design, and then carved the design free-hand into a 4”x6” linoleum block. She inked the block and printed each copy by hand.
The Edition: Throughout the entire process, 45 images were printed from the linoleum block onto the Mulberry paper. Of those images, the 25 best prints were selected for inclusion in the edition, and the remaining 20 were destroyed. After completion of the edition, the linoleum block from which they were printed was destroyed, ensuring that only 25 prints would remain in existence.
Packaging: The print is temporarily mounted on professional quality, acid-free black mat board and sealed inside a clear plastic collector's art sleeve. Overall packaging dim
